There are a variety of rides offered - with the added bonus that they are nearly all down hill and a dedicated bus and trailer loads up the bikes to take you back to the top!

Tarraleah Golf Course
Tarraleah Golf Course is the highest in Tasmania and surely one of the most beautiful in the State.
The course was constructed in the 1950’s by Hydro Tasmania to provide entertainment for the original residents in the town. The parkland course was placed with European and native trees, many of which are now mature and add majesty to the course.
The very pretty course with watered greens offers some challenges and the swaying waterlillies may sometimes be distracting. The course is a Par 65 with yardage of 5900.
Full sets of new quality clubs together with trolleys are available at Adventure Tarraleah. Balls, tees, hats and sunscreen are available for purchase.
Kayaking Tours
Kayak through breathtaking mirror flat lakes in the heart of Tasmanian wilderness.
Keep a look out for local platypus that live in the area. Stop and relax with morning tea or lunch on the banks of the lagoon in areas that only a kayak can reach.
Anyone can kayak. It is really very easy and our guide guarantees you will be kayaking in less than 2 minutes! It is that easy!. We use 4.8 metre state of the art sea kayaking equipment. We only ask that you can swim.
Choose from half day, full day or even overnight camping tours.
A great way to experience the Highland Lakes!
Bush Walking
Surrounded by pristine forests and lakes, Tarraleah is the perfect place to explore the highlands.
Take the Eagle track or Quoll track and explore beautiful eucalypt forests. Keep your eyes open for local wildlife. You may be lucky enough to spot one of the two resident wedge tailed eagles.
